Joe Biden will be the new president of the United States. Priyanka Dasgupta has put an eye on the Bengali diaspora's reaction on it and spotted some enthusiastic people. Amongst them, Tanu Sarkar said: "This election wasn’t just about picking the right candidate and voting. It became our personal battle to help bring back empathy, fairness, equality and decency to the America we love." Importantly, US-Indian Kamala Harris is the first woman ever to become vice president of the United States.
